Capital clinics refused to enter into an agreement

Details of the sale of a child in the east of Moscow have become known. Before appearing at the police station, the surrogate mother wanted to issue a power of attorney for the Muscovite woman who asked to carry the child.

As MK managed to find out, the participants in the transaction that became the subject of the investigation met on a social network – one surrogate mother recommended her 31-year-old colleague from Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug Elina (all names have been changed) to 36-year-old Muscovite Tonya. The latter, for medical reasons, could not have children, and last year she finally found someone who could carry the baby. The women agreed that Elina would receive 25 thousand rubles monthly, and after giving birth – a one-time payment of 1 million rubles. However, the capital’s clinics refused to enter into an agreement due to the fact that Tonya was unemployed. But she had money – the woman had previously sold the apartment, but the legal circumstances turned out to be insurmountable. Then the Muscovite suggested that Elina go to a medical center and do IVF, supposedly for herself. Apparently, there was a calculation in this: Tonya suggested that when she was pregnant, she should give birth to a child in secret and at home. But the surrogate mother, who arrived from Ugra to Moscow at the end of October, flatly refused to do so. Having received a deposit of 500 thousand rubles from Tony, she gave birth in a paid department of one of the capital’s maternity hospitals. Tonya and her mother arrived at the discharge and literally took the newborn boy from the hands of the nurse. There, they paid, and Elina went to the hostel. Having come to her senses, she realized that she did not have any documents (the birth certificate was issued in her name, where she is listed as the mother of the child), and there was no contract with the Muscovite. Then she first went to the notary to, as she stated, prepare a power of attorney to transfer the child to Tonya, and then to the police. Tonya had already been interrogated, she shared her plans to legalize the child: in her words, after some time she planned to go to court and deprive Elina of her rights.
