The Investigative Committee opened a bribery case against the deputy head of the Moscow Federal Tax Service Ishkhanova
TFR informed on Wednesday about the initiation of a criminal case under the article “Receiving a bribe on an especially large scale” against Elena Ishkhanova, deputy head of the 15th tax inspectorate in Moscow
According to investigators, from September 2016 to October 2018, Ishkhanova, while holding the position of head of the taxpayer registration and accounting department of the Federal Tax Service No. 28, regularly received bribes “for committing obviously illegal inaction in favor of the bribe giver,” which was an unnamed businessman. The total amount of bribes imputed by Ishkhanova is more than 1,800,000 rubles.
It is noted that the criminal activity of the accused “was revealed and suppressed in the course of the joint work of investigators and employees of three departments at once: the capital’s TFR, the FSB Department for Moscow and the region, and the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Ishkhanova was detained, the issue of choosing a measure of restraint for her is being decided.
