Demand for new buildings has dropped noticeably in Russia

In Russia, the demand for housing in new buildings in October decreased by 12% compared to September. This was reported by Lenta.ru with reference to the study.
According to experts, there has been a decrease in the country’s residents’ need to purchase apartments. Thus, interest in two-room living space decreased by 13%, in three-room apartments by 12%, in one-room apartments by 11%, and in studios by 9%. Apartments themselves in new buildings have risen in price by 2%.
The study says that the level of interest in new buildings decreased the most in Kirov – by 25%. Saratov took second place – by 23%. Third place goes to Barnaul, where demand fell by 22%. The top five also included Nizhny Novgorod and Simferopol.
Experts recorded an increase in demand for housing only in Krasnoyarsk, Tomsk and Kaliningrad.
