300 Russian citizens have been unable to get out of the international checkpoint in the city of Heihe for the fourth day, writes Mash. According to tourists, in a few days they will run out of money with which they buy food for themselves and their children, and the transport company does not provide sandwiches and water.

At first, a representative of the travel company “AmurASSO” announced a difficult ice situation on the river, but people were not satisfied with this answer: they noted that Chinese hovercraft regularly ply between the banks without hindrance. Then the company announced that the special transport had broken down.

The tourists also stated that they asked for a refund, but were refused, since a refund can only be issued in Russia. The Russians were also unable to buy tickets from Chinese carriers, since they stated that they sell tours only to residents of the PRC.

The Russians decided to draw up a petition addressed to the head of the Far Eastern Customs Department, Yuri Ladygin. They asked to take everyone out of China via an international bridge.

Earlier it was reported that due to the hydrological situation on the Amur River, they were stuck at Chinese customs about a hundred Russian tourists.

The Ministry of Economic Development and External Relations of the Amur Region clarified that a transition is being made to transportation by hovercraft.
