The plant in Kaliningrad will start producing a 188-horsepower BAIC X55 crossover equipped with a 7-speed robotic gearbox and a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine.
According to Kommersant, the production line for the production of cars is already ready, all the equipment has been set up and reprogrammed.
Recall that the production of BAIC cars in Kaliningrad began in April, by the end of this year it is planned to launch the production of seven models of the brand. The price of the crossover and the timing of the start of sales are not specified.
