She drank herbal infusions

For no apparent reason, 104-year-old long-liver Klavdiya Milashina died in her apartment in the capital’s village of Kommunarka. The grandmother did not complain about her health, and doctors, in turn, did not find a single serious illness in her. On Sunday afternoon, the pensioner simply did not wake up from her afternoon nap.

Almost until her last day, Klavdiya Milashina was in good health, although she gradually began to lose her appetite. At the same time, the old woman repeated to all her loved ones that she intended to live to be 130 years old, since she did not feel age at all. For example, last summer a woman managed to visit Gelendzhik – there, 50 years ago, her husband headed the Institute of Geology. By the way, the prophecy of her husband, who planned to live to 90, actually came true.

According to relatives, Claudia Georgievna had her own secret to longevity. For all illnesses and ailments she took infusions of various herbs. And when a cold started, I smeared my nose with fir oil.

In her entire life, the centenarian did not take a single pill – she was strictly forbidden to take medications by her father, who worked as a doctor (modern doctors, of course, will not agree with this principle). The woman also considered a mobile lifestyle to be the secret to her good health – together with her husband, she traveled all over the country, working as geologists. The Great Patriotic War found them in Grozny, and towards its end the family moved to Sakhalin. At retirement age, the couple settled in Moscow, but did not sit idly by, but continued to engage in scientific activities.
