Girls from a family in the Vladimir region, one of whom made a gesture on television that is considered a signal for help, are safe. They feel good. This was announced by the Ombudsman for Children’s Rights in the region Yulia Rasnyanskaya.
“Yesterday, the relevant authorities communicated with the family. We can say with confidence that the children are safe and feel good,” said Ms. Rasnyanskaya “RIA News”.
According to her, this family has been under the control of the Office of the Commissioner for Children’s Rights in the Vladimir Region since 2020. Yulia Rasnyanskaya also said that she had organized an additional check in the family.
“One way or another, we periodically control what happens there, due to the fact that the girl’s parents, former spouses, are quite emotional about everything that happens,” she said.
On June 21, Channel One aired the release of the Male / Female program called “Sutyazniki”. The plot was dedicated to a family in which parents, after a divorce, cannot share custody of their youngest daughter. In the footage of the interview with her daughters, the older girl, telling how she likes living with her mother and sister, stretches out her hand, presses her thumb to her palm and bends it several times. This gesture is considered an international signal for help.
June 22 in the Telegram channel “Male/Female” told about the huge number of calls in connection with the gesture of the girl. The message assured that “the editors of the program have taken all the necessary measures in such situations.” The father of the youngest daughter told “Caution, Moscow” that the situation is under the control of the prosecutor’s office and guardianship authorities. He did not provide other details.
