Graduation on the second attempt: no luck for those who planned to leave

Today, July 1, is the second attempt to have a holiday for graduates of Moscow, the Moscow region and other regions, where farewell celebrations with the school were postponed from June 24 for a week due to the introduced counter-terrorist operation regime. “MK” found out how the graduates and their parents survived the transfer, and what are the expectations from today’s events among graduates from Moscow and other regions?

“Today, July 1, we will have a great graduation ceremony! No one is late with their submission! There is time. Everyone is in a great mood!” – assured us the director of one of the Moscow schools.

Muscovite Irina, mother of this year’s graduate, is among those who survived the unexpected transfer. But their family did not suffer losses, since the girl had to go to graduation in the Park. Gorky, and it is free for schoolchildren.

“The daughter reacted calmly, this transfer did not upset our plans,” says Irina. – Stylists and hairdressers did not have to be canceled, my daughter combs and colors herself. If we talk about the mood with which they go to Gorky Park today, then it doesn’t matter to her and her classmates whether it was last Saturday or today they have fun there …

Ekaterina and her classmates from the Dubna gymnasium were lucky: their event was originally scheduled for July 1.

– We, both of our senior classes, are going to a country hotel today at 17 o’clock, – the girl told us. – Before that, we will have a solemn part in the gymnasium with the issuance of certificates. Both teachers and one of the parents who wanted to attend the event at the hotel will be present … We rented 20,000 rubles for graduation. from a person. I know that the program will include some competitions, activities, then a disco until one in the morning.

Did you buy a ball gown for yourself?

– Not at all, I did not bother about the outfit. I have a trouser suit, which will later come in handy for other special occasions.

– Do you feel that you will soon begin another life?

– The realization of this has not yet come. There is some excitement and nervousness about activities on Saturday. Because I get certificates and then dance the waltz … I’m a little worried that everything will go perfectly.

By the way, Katya brilliantly passed all the subjects of the Unified State Examination, she will apply for a translator from a foreign language.

Of course, not everyone was lucky with the graduation date. And for those who will not be able to attend the holiday today because of their planned departure from the city immediately after June 24 for different purposes, it is a little insulting. Moreover, no one will return the money for the banquet in such cases.

“My brother graduated from a cadet school, and on July 24 they, like the majority, had to have a graduation,” Alina from the Moscow Region told MK. – He was postponed, but now he has already left for St. Petersburg to take entrance tests, and, therefore, will not be able to take part. But nothing, he, as a future military man, took it normally.

By the way, on the day of the postponement, some organizations related to graduations announced that they had decided to meet yesterday’s students in a force majeure situation. For example, one suit rental firm in Moscow informed its customers: “All suits rented from us for prom and returned on June 24th will be given away free of charge on July 1st so that you can have your prom as beautifully as you planned, and at no additional cost! They will be weighed and preserved until the time of your holiday.”

Problems due to the transfer also arose for those metropolitan graduates who were supposed to take the exam in mathematics on the reserve day of June 26, which was made a day off in Moscow, so the exam was again postponed to July 1! Now these guys may not be able to make it to their graduation after passing the exam.

… And someone did not even notice any transfer – that’s what Andrei, a graduate from the Moscow region, told us.

– For me, July 1 is just the day when I receive a certificate, and after that I go to celebrate this event with my family. Saying goodbye to school is not sad for me, but, on the contrary, joyful!

Andrei explained his reluctance to hang out with classmates by the fact that he had no close friends at school.

Meanwhile, at a city-wide holiday for graduates in the Park. Gorky for the children will be performed by sixty performers (which, as the organizers assure, the children themselves chose by voting, although many do not believe in this). Entrance to the event will be carried out with a special bracelet. As the teachers, whose graduates will be there, explained to us, “the school forms a list of its willing graduates inside, then receives an invitation and bracelets for the participants of the holiday.” That is, almost everyone can take a walk at the main prom in Moscow.

Children will enter the park along the red carpet and light tunnels to the music of DJs. The gates of the park, just like last year, will be closed all night so that graduates can hang out until the morning. Last year, over 35,000 boys and girls took part in this event.
