Cause and effect // The court banned dismantling work on the site of a historic house, which was taken care of by the head of the TFR

The Kuibyshevsky District Court of St. Petersburg registered a lawsuit filed by St. Petersburg city defenders against KGIOP with a demand to cancel work permits on the site of the house of E. P. Saltykova. Twenty minutes after registration, the court, as a measure of preliminary protection, prohibited the contractor from any work on the site. The house is being investigated in a criminal case on abuse of power by KGIOP employees; on August 24, the head of the TFR, Alexander Bastrykin, personally came there to talk with the general director of the contractor. City defenders believe that such a visit should not affect the decision of the court, but noted the precedent in terms of the speed of imposing interim measures.
