Athletes from Buryatia won 6 gold medals at the Far Eastern Federal District Kickboxing Championship. Competitions in tatami disciplines were held in Khabarovsk from February 8 to 11.
Daria Shelopugina and Anastasia Burdina took gold in the light contact discipline. Anton Chernykh and Peter Shagdurov won silver. Danil Savchenko, Ivan Rodionov and Anastasia Stepanova took bronze.
In the point fighting discipline, gold medals went to Daria Shelopugina, Anastasia Burdina, Ivan Rodionov and Makar Irincheev. Konstantin Mangirov – bronze.
Also, Buryat athletes were awarded individual prizes – Daria Shelopugina was awarded a prize for “Best technique”, and Pyotr Shagdurov was awarded “For the will to win”.
