The Torpedo youth squad has been playing in the Major League for the fourth season in a row and has shown excellent results during the current regular season, settling in the first half of the standings. At the moment, “Norman” ranks 3rd in the standings, having scored 26 points based on the results of 16 matches played. Only representatives of Fakel and the Communist Party of the Russian Federation-2 are better than the Nizhny Novgorod players in the tournament distance.
In the upcoming regular season match, “Norman” will have to play away in Surgut for the second time this season. The local “Fakel” is among the favorites of the Major League, competing with the backup squad of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation-2 for leadership. In 17 matches played, Fakel was able to score 40 points, which allows them to take 2nd place and have a comfortable advantage over Norman. There are 14 points in the standings between the teams from Nizhny Novgorod and Surgut, and the last head-to-head meeting ended in a victory for Fakel with a score of 6:2.
