The Bryansk athlete became the winner of the World Kettlebell Lifting Championship. A large-scale competition took place in the Uzbek city of Khiva and brought together representatives of 21 states. Over 600 participants competed for gold awards.
The Bryansk national, Master of Sports of Russia Andrei Mukhitov, competed in the Russian national team, the regional sports department reported. In serious competition, he earned a gold award, demonstrating a high level of preparation. In the team relay, Andrei Mukhitov showed a grandmaster 39 lifts in the clean and jerk on a long cycle of two 32 kg weights.
It is noted that the Bryansk athlete has a series of victories on the international stage as part of the junior team. Among adults, Andrei rose to the highest step of the world podium for the first time.
