Svetlana Bondarchuk complained about the poor condition of the basement in her elite house in the center of Moscow

A socialite, blogger and aspiring journalist, the ex-wife of director Fyodor Bondarchuk complained about the security threat in her home. According to Svetlana Bondarchuk, in a building built in 1905 near the Patriarch’s Ponds, the basement is in disrepair, and the residents cannot get repairs done.

In her blog, Bondarchuk wrote that for a long time she and the neighbors did not know what was going on in the basement, but recently the premises had a new owner, and they were able to look inside.

“The sewage drains straight into the ground, complete unsanitary conditions…” Bondarchuk complained, noting that she does not understand where payments for major repairs are going.

According to Bondarchuk, she cannot remain indifferent, “after all, it concerns human safety – in our time this is the most valuable thing.” According to her, as a responsible owner, she tried to write requests to utility companies to eliminate the problems, but they were allegedly ignored.

“We often see reports about what is happening to some houses in the provinces,” Bondarchuk added, “but this story is about the center of the capital.”

She turned to subscribers asking for advice on what to do. She also emphasized that she wants “her native city, beautiful in many respects, to continue to develop and become safer.”
