American aircraft manufacturer Boeing has asked its aircraft customers around the world to check Boeing 737 Max aircraft for a loose bolt in the structure.
According to CNBC, we are talking about a defect in the rudder control system. It was found in one of the aircraft sold and its owner reported it to the manufacturer.
Boeing then confirmed the problem on all 737 Max aircraft and asked all 737 Max owners to check for the loose bolt as a safety precaution and, if necessary, take appropriate corrective action.
Earlier it was reported that six months after the imposition of sanctions, Russian companies managed to return 201 foreign aircraft to foreign transportation, of which 150 were Boeing and Airbus. All of them were listed in the Bermuda registry, but after the introduction of sanctions by the West were re-registered in Russia.
As part of strengthening technological sovereignty, specialists from the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics SB RAS learned to restore blades for Airbus and Boeing engines, which are sanctioned goods. The production of these elements is planned to begin before the end of 2024.
