Energy workers have completed work to restore power supply in Dagestan, the Russian Ministry of Energy reported. Problems with the supply of electricity in the republic arose due to strong winds.

“In Dagestan, priority work has been completed to restore power supplies to consumers de-energized due to squally winds,” the ministry said in a press release in Telegram.

According to the department, in the Yaroslavl region the number of consumers disconnected from power supply due to bad weather has decreased to 500 people. In the Donetsk People’s Republic, 6.5 thousand people remain without electricity, in the Lugansk People’s Republic – 6.4 thousand.

According to the prosecutor’s office, due to strong winds there was no power supply. remained more than 90 thousand consumers. Difficult weather conditions were recorded in 18 districts, and almost 150 people were involved in restoration work.
