Previously, the operation of Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft was suspended in the United States. The reason was an emergency with a fallen window on an Alaska Airlines airliner in Portland. Earlier it became known about the emergency landing of Alaska Airlines flight 1282 at Portland Airport due to depressurization. The plane was heading to Ontario, California, when one of its windows fell out and part of the fuselage fell off. Videos taken by passengers of the ill-fated flight appeared on social networks. In a statement, the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said the restrictions would apply to aircraft operated within the United States or by US airlines. According to the regulator, this is 171 aircraft.
