Bloomberg: Apple is preparing an iPad Pro with an M2 processor

Apple this year will release a new generation of iPad Pro tablets, which will receive a new processor. This is reported Bloomberg in the Power On mailing list.
According to Mark Gurman, editor of the publication, the American company will update the iPad Pro line for the first time in two years. The tablets will receive a new proprietary M2 chip, which should provide a 20% increase in power compared to the current generation of devices. The new processor, which will be installed on the 11-inch and 12.9-inch tablets, will be the main change in the iPad Pro.
According to Mr. Gurman, the release of new tablets is scheduled for the last week of October. The devices will be presented without a separate presentation – the products will be announced on the official website through press releases – along with the release of the iPadOS 16.1 operating system.
Recall, the last presentation of Apple at the moment passed September 7: The company introduced the iPhone 14 family of smartphones, Watch Series 8 watches, and second-generation AirPods Pro headphones.
