Rosfinmonitoring excluded blogger Yuri Khovansky, against whom a case was initiated to justify terrorism, from the list of extremists and terrorists.
The relevant information appeared on Friday, September 9, on the agency’s website.
Khovansky was detained in June 2021. He was suspected that no later than July 3, 2020, the blogger performed a song related to the hostage-taking during the musical Nord-Ost in Moscow in 2002.
In July 2022, the Second Western District Military Court, at an offsite hearing in St. Petersburg, decided to terminate the criminal case against the blogger due to the expiration of the statute of limitations for bringing to justice.
