Due to Typhoon Hinnamnor, there is no electricity in five settlements of the Komsomolsk and Nanai districts of the Khabarovsk Territory, the local Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. Power lines are currently being restored. There are six municipalities in the flood zone.

“Communal services specialists eliminate power line breaks and connect settlements to power supply. At present, in the Khabarovsk Territory, work remains to be completed to restore power supply in five settlements in two municipal districts – Komsomolsky and Nanaisky. Crews promptly carry out repairs to electrical networks. More than 20 people and seven pieces of equipment are involved,”— reported in the department.

On the morning of September 10, near Khabarovsk, the water level in the river dropped by 16 cm to a mark of 2.85 m (an unfavorable indicator is 4.5 m, a dangerous one is 6). At Komsomolsk-on-Amur, the water level in the river dropped by seven centimeters and amounted to 5.63 m (an unfavorable indicator is 4.5 m, a dangerous one is 6.5).

September 9 Governor of Primorsky Krai Oleg Kozhemyako asked the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to introduce a state of emergency at the federal level in the region due to damage after the typhoon. The monthly rainfall exceeded 50% in half of the districts of the region.
