During a break in a North American Hockey League match in the United States, police arrested Belarusian defenseman of the New Hampshire Mountain Kings Yegor Romanov, The Tribune Democrat reports, citing the press service of the Johnstown Tomahawks.
Romanov’s team played an away match in Johnstown. The hockey player was arrested in connection with an outstanding arrest warrant issued two years earlier.
The athlete, who previously played for the Esmark Stars junior club, was charged with aggravated hit-and-run.
