The Baza Telegram channel claims that the only version of the explosion at the Zagorsk Optical-Mechanical Plant in Sergiev Posad that investigators have not dismissed is the explosion of a truck with gunpowder.
The explosion occurred on August 9, 2023. It is believed the truck stalled as it entered the unloading area.
The truck driver got out and, finding out that the truck had stalled due to problems with the battery, asked for a cigarette, which caused the explosion.
