In the case of the crash of a business jet, the founder of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, will be interrogated by private jet pilot Artyom Stepanov. He is on Washington’s sanctions list for ties to the head of a private military company. This is reported by the Baza Telegram channel.
Law enforcement officers believe that Artyom Stepanov could have had access to Prigozhin’s Embraer aircraft before departure. According to the brother of the suspect, he has been on vacation in Kamchatka for the last week, and “he has already been contacted by those who need it.”
Stepanov is a private jet pilot and former founder of MNT-Aero, the owner of a crashed business jet.
Earlier, the United States Department of the Treasury accused him of having links with the deceased and made a list of sanctions. Stepanov, in response, filed a lawsuit against the department – he claimed that he had no working relationship with the head of the PMC and saw him about 10 years ago.
