The Investigative Committee of Russia, in a publication on its Telegram channel, reports that the Chairman of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, requested a report on the criminal case of the beating of basketball player Alexei Shved in Moscow.
According to the publication of the department, a story was broadcast on one of the Russian federal channels reporting that after the beating of Shved near a club in the center of Moscow, a criminal case was opened and three people were detained. It is noted that only one person involved was brought to justice.
The department added that Bastrykin instructed the Main Investigation Department of the RF IC to report on the progress and results of the investigation and the procedural decisions made.
