An employee of the patrol service of the Department of Internal Affairs for the Kitay-Gorod district was detained in the Moscow region on suspicion of drug possession.
As MK learned, the incident occurred on Wednesday in Pavlovsky Posad near Moscow. A 33-year-old senior sergeant was detained while off duty in a forest. During inspection, they found 0.61 grams of mephedrone on him. The law enforcement officer explained that he purchased the drug for personal use. As the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow reported, if his guilt is confirmed, he will be dismissed from the authorities, and his leaders will be subject to disciplinary action.
