After a successful pilot project, the platform is launching Avito Branded Delivery, which will allow existing third-party pickup points to directly connect to Avito Delivery for receiving and issuing shipments. This was reported by the company’s press service.

Representatives of the platform calculated that last year the number of orders doubled, and the number of delivery ads exceeded 93 million. The pilot was tested at 100 delivery points in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Yekaterinburg.

After connecting to the network, the owners of pick-up points will be able to both accept and issue orders at multi-brand points (already working with marketplaces and stores) and open mono-brand points under a direct agreement with the platform, the press service clarified. The company is also preparing to launch a personal account and software.

“Over the past year, we have been meeting with the owners of pick-up points to determine their key needs, the specifics of business processes and use this information in developing our own solution for pick-up points. In 2024, we plan to increase the number of pickup points directly connected to our delivery network to 1,500, and process almost 2.5 million orders through them!” said Sergei Pustylnik, director of logistics at Avito.

Delivery will be handled by logistics providers that meet the requirements of the platform. New pick-up points along with other delivery services will be displayed on users’ maps.
