Audi called the reason for the cancellation of its online services in Russia

The German corporation Audi (part of the Volkswagen group) has confirmed the suspension of its online services in the Russian Federation. This was announced by a representative of the company.
According to him, it was necessary to restrict access to services due to EU sanctions. Prior to this, the Volkswagen Group had already frozen almost all IT systems in Russia, with the exception of five.
On August 21, it became known about disabling the software of automakers BMW and Audi. In what way, the owners of these brands cannot see the maintenance history, and new versions of car firmware are now not available to them.
Anton Shaparin, vice-president of the working groups of the National Automobile Union of Russia, proposed giving access to unofficial software for checking cars of those brands that have disabled official programs.
