Athlete from the Moscow region won the championship of Russia in powerlifting

Mariana Shtofina lifted a barbell three times her own weight. The twenty-two-year-old athlete from Chekhov confidently won first place in the Russian championship in powerlifting – power triathlon. Maryana Shtofina is a pupil of the FSKI “Chaika”, the winner entered the Russian team. Speaking in the 48 kg weight category, the girl lifted the bar more than three times her own weight – 162.5 kg.
Chekhov’s sportswoman, pupil of FSKI “The Seagull” Maryana Shtofina, became the champion of Russia in powerlifting (power triathlon) and joined the Russian national team. The girl performed in the weight category of 48 kg, and lifted the barbell weighing 162.5 kg.
Recall that competitions for athletes with disabilities, the sport of the blind are held in Chelyabinsk, in the track and field arena “Ural GUFK”.
More than 50 participants from 25 constituent entities of the Russian Federation compete in the competition. Challenges include the barbell squat, bench press, and deadlift.
At 22, Maryana Shtofina managed to achieve high sports results, despite health problems. Mariana has already won several awards in various sports. Among her achievements are victories in the Championships of the Moscow Region in swimming and powerlifting, as well as gold in the Russian Championship in powerlifting and first place in the Dikul Cup.
