applicants have reduced the number of directions for admission

Higher education institutions are reducing the number of specialties for which applicants will be able to apply next year. If earlier the rules allowed “trying to enroll” in five universities and ten directions in each, now the number of directions has been reduced to five.
The update applies to both undergraduate and graduate programs. In fact, according to school graduates, such a reduction will not significantly affect the plans of future applicants. As practice shows, few people applied for ten different areas of training, since for this it was necessary to pass a very wide “spectrum” of the Unified State Examinations. If we proceed from the practice that the guys pass three or four unified state exams, then a set of five universities and five specialties in each will be enough for them.
