Anastasia Rakova: new interactive notebooks in physics and chemistry are available at MES

New interactive notebooks on chemistry and physics have appeared in the MES library. They are needed for conducting virtual laboratory work in grades 7-9. Inside the new product are tasks and theoretical information on relevant topics.

“For schoolchildren in grades 7-9, we have launched interactive notebooks for laboratory work in the virtual laboratory space. You can now conduct experiments in physics and chemistry online. It will become easier to develop and test your skills and knowledge, but it will be more difficult to cheat,” said Vice-Mayor for Social Development Anastasia Rakova.

She added that a unique version is created for each student from a common database of tests and tasks. These may include multiple-choice tests, open-ended questions, tables, reaction equations, and graphs. New notebooks will help teenagers better understand educational material and develop scientific thinking skills. In turn, teachers will be able to use notebooks to create homework assignments. Interactive notebooks will be automatically checked.

Now schoolchildren can work in six interactive notebooks for laboratory work: “Mechanics”, “Optics”, “Electrodynamics”, “Molecular physics and thermodynamics”, “Electromagnetic field. Faraday”, “Inorganic Chemistry”.

Workbooks are available in the MES library; filters will help you find them – just set the “Workbook” parameter.
