An ideal society of total control: what dangers are fraught with a “digital passport”

QR codes are back. Not by washing, so by skating. The day before, Shadayev, head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, proposed introducing a digital identity card that can be verified using the State Services. The President approved this proposal. But did competent persons explain to him exactly what this means for every Russian and the country as a whole?

From the outside, it seems to be cool – a bright future is coming: every citizen will be able to use a phone instead of a passport.

“You upload a photo from a biometric passport to your smartphone, then a QR code is generated for you to present,” the minister told the president, noting that this technology has already been agreed with the special services. They wouldn’t even agree to it!

“Please, the sooner the better,” Putin replied to the minister. — Of course, such services are in high demand, and we just need to speed up their implementation. Prepare, please, these projects.

Actually, everything goes to that. First, the technology will be introduced in parallel with a regular passport. Then instead of him. Then all sorts of interesting options will be tied to the electronic document, so that it turns out like a Chinese “social loan” for law-abiding citizens. The project, which, by the way, did not pass even in China itself. For the people have risen.

Fines, taxes, lawsuits, surveillance videos… Everything will be entered in this hieroglyphic box. I crossed the road in the right place – now we have cameras everywhere – a good boy, well done.

He criticized something in social networks – access to banking services was terminated. Temporarily. For correction.

He did something even more disloyal – they blocked his salary, compulsory medical insurance, OSAGO and driver’s license. You don’t fly by plane. They will not take on a prestigious job. The child will not enter the chosen university. An apple from an apple tree, as you know.

You fulfill your civic duty and agree with everything – a mortgage for a lower percentage. But even these bonuses can be dispelled into dust at any moment…

There was a digital person – and there is no digital person. Remained purely physical. In the image and likeness. You are a bug without a piece of paper with a QR. But soon they want to replace ordinary paper rubles with fully digital ones. And how to live without a credit card? The ideal society of total control.

Someone thinks that he is honest and decent, always translates grandmothers across the road and therefore all this will not affect him personally. Are you sure? As in the dystopian fairy tale of the famous children’s writer Vladislav Krapivin “Geese-geese, ha-ha-ha”, when the computer made a mistake and sentenced to death a person who accidentally violated traffic rules. Such errors happen 1:1,000,000. But no one canceled hackers and computer bugs. Guess there’s not much of a chance. But if this chance falls to you personally?

Pensioners are a different story altogether. It’s easy to influence them. Recall the pandemic times and disabled social cards, people across the country actually found themselves without benefits, payments, free travel tickets, locked in their apartments. Of course, from the outside it seemed that it was all for their own good. But people are deprived of freedom of choice and free will, like little children, supposedly for their own benefit. And they asked the authorities about it?

And you can also connect fines and taxes to QR. If you want to remove sins – pay. And the state benefits from this.

Human on/off. This, of course, is a matter of a more distant future. But it starts with the simplest.

The Western project of a new reality of total control for the sake of illusory security has been stubbornly implemented in the world throughout the coronavirus years. QR codes, green passports, restrictions for disloyal people who do not agree to be vaccinated and wear masks.

Oddly enough, it stopped thanks to Russia, among other things. I had to adjust the initial plans – two world crises, a pandemic and a political one, the world elites simply would not have pulled.

How long? After all, everyone who furiously promoted the QR agenda last year has not gone away.

The same officials, who last year frantically demanded to prick and “blow” everyone, remained sitting in their chairs and in their offices. They simply hid and switched to other slogans. How long? And it is not a fact that the people, already crushed by the problems that have piled on, this time will not be more pliable and obedient.

What is will, what is captivity. QR is so QR.

Waiting for the right moment. And here he is, apparently. Since the end of last year, they have been promoting biometrics, the collection of genetic data of Russians, now they are combining ordinary passports with digital ones.

The draft of the relevant decree is expected to be submitted to the government before May 1. Is there a chance to change and fix something?
