According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center, an earthquake of magnitude 4.6 struck central Turkey.
As specified, the earthquake was recorded at 08:52 Moscow time, 58 kilometers northwest of the city of Kahramanmarash, where powerful tremors had previously occurred. The new earthquake was followed by seven aftershocks, the strength of which ranged from 2.5 to 4.4.
