Khabarovsk volleyball players managed to defeat the hosts of the Siberian and Far East Cup in the semi-finals and reach the final
The semifinal match for the athletes from Khabarovsk was not the easiest. Khabarovsk players advanced to the next stage of the Siberian and Far East Women’s Volleyball Cup from second place in the regular season and ended up with the winner of Group “A” – the host team of the tournament “Lokomotiv-Angara”.
Volleyball players from Irkutsk showed character from the very first minutes, fought for every ball and even won the first set with a score. In the following games, the Khabarovsk team rallied and managed to give battle to the Siberians, winning all the other games. Difficulties arose in the third; victory hung by a thread, but the “tigresses” did not intend to miss it. As a result, a victory with a score of 1:3 (25:21, 14:25, 24:26, 10:25) and reaching the final.
In turn, the Dynamo team from Vladivostok passed Novosibirsk “Olympus” without any problems, which took 2nd place in Group “A” in the regular season – 3:0 (25:12, 25:21, 25:17). So the “tigresses” will have to fight for the Siberian and Far East Cup with the only team in the tournament from which they were defeated. The golden final will take place today, September 17 at 17:00 Khabarovsk time.
