Almost two million Russians were left without electricity in the southern regions

About 1.9 million Russians were left without electricity due to unfavorable weather. Emergency shutdowns affected residents of Crimea, Dagestan, Krasnodar Territory, Rostov, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. The Russian Ministry of Energy announced this on Monday afternoon, November 27.
It is noted that specialists are working in an intensive mode to eliminate accidents. In total, 680 teams, consisting of more than two thousand people and 783 pieces of equipment, were involved in the restoration work.
Restoration work is complicated by the situation caused by the consequences of bad weather, the Ministry of Energy emphasized.
It was previously reported that in the Rostov region were left without electricity about one hundred thousand people, the same number – in Dagestanin Crimea – 400 thousand subscribers.
