Delegations from 23 countries took part in the International Business Week in Ufa

The open part of the XVI International Business Week has ended in Ufa. “Day after tomorrow. Forecast of the professional community” became the key topic of the forum. Participants were able to look into the new reality and imagine the day after tomorrow from the perspective of the professional community.
More than 6,300 people from Russian regions, as well as 550 foreign guests from 23 countries, including India, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Iran, Belarus, Brazil, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Serbia and others, took part in the International Business Week.
During the plenary session, the head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, said that the region has relations with 112 states.
“Without partnership, there probably won’t be success. Four years ago, just over 800 Bashkir enterprises were engaged in foreign trade activities, now twice as many. We are trying to formulate the image of Bashkortostan by 2030 and see the key to success in mutually beneficial equal cooperation. Cooperation between states then makes sense for us when everything is established for the people and for the sake of the people – so that people’s lives are better,” Khabirov said.
First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Regional Policy and Local Self-Government of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Sergei Morozov highly praised the powerful management team of Bashkortostan. He said that the republic is among the leaders in many indicators.
“What kind of country do we want to see, what kind of municipality do we want to see. And let’s take as a basis, first of all, successful regions, leading regions, in order to create a leading country. I visited a number of enterprises and roadside service facilities. I worked as a governor for 17 years, I’m not a sentimental person, but even I want to give Radiy Khabirov and Andrei Nazarov a standing ovation: they are great. Now, if we have all such subjects of the Russian Federation, then, of course, we will be a leading country,” Morozov said.
Over the three days of the forum, more than 50 business events took place, during which more than 400 speakers spoke.
