As shown survey research center Superjob.ru, 45% of Russians consider themselves more or less dependent on modern electronic devices, gadgets and the Internet. At the same time, 13% of respondents are sure of this unequivocally, 32% are inclined to this opinion. The younger the respondents, the more often they report symptoms of digital addiction.

39% of respondents from time to time try to arrange a digital detox for themselves. 15% deliberately give up gadgets and the Internet for several hours daily, 10% – several times a week, 8% – several times a month. 5% refuse several times a year, 1% – once every few years. The majority (61%) do not resort to such measures at all. Some people need gadgets and the Internet for work, others want to always stay in touch, and someone perceives them as a natural habitat.
