All-Russian competitions in fire and rescue sports for the Pacific Ocean Cup are held in Vladivostok

Competitions in Vladivostok are held from 16 to 18 March. This is already the fourth three-day All-Russian competition in fire and rescue sports for the Pacific Cup.
The championship brought together 109 athletes who arrived from all over the Far Eastern Federal District in order to compete for the main trophy of the sporting event – the Pacific Ocean Cup.
Athletes need to overcome several disciplines. In the course of the discipline “Climbing the Assault Ladder”, the athletes showed strength, endurance, reaction speed, as well as their new achievements in fire and rescue sports.
As a result of the first day of the competition in the discipline “Climbing the assault ladder to the window of the fourth floor of the training tower”, the winners among men were:
- Gold went to Alexander Sokolnikov from Primorye with a score of 13.97 seconds
- The silver medal was won by Nikita Khizhnyak from the Khabarovsk Territory with a score of 14.42 seconds.
- Bronze was taken by Vitaly Zhukov from Primorye with a score of 15.23 seconds
The winners in the discipline “Climbing the assault ladder through the window of the second floor of the training tower” were:
- Gold went to Christina Sokolova from the Trans-Baikal Territory with a score of 7.32 seconds.
- Silver went to Oksana Yutsyus from Primorye with a score of 7.59 seconds.
- Bronze medal went to Elizaveta Kudryavtseva from the team of the Far Eastern Fire and Rescue Academy with a score of 7.94 seconds.
