Alfa-Bank filed another lawsuit on Svyaznoy’s debt

Alfa-Bank continues to collect debts from Svyaznoy: now the bank has filed a lawsuit against the owner of the retailer, the Cypriot company DTSRetail, for 5.99 billion rubles. These data are published in the file of arbitration cases (CAD). The application was submitted to the Moscow Arbitration Court at the end of July, the preliminary hearing is scheduled for mid-September. Svyaznoy itself and the Merlion distributor are involved in the dispute as third parties.

A representative of the bank did not comment on the details of the dispute. The press service of Svyaznoy did not respond to a request from Vedomosti. A Merlion spokesman declined to comment.
