Activities related to partial mobilization will be completed in Crimea today, September 25, before the end of the day, said the head of the region Sergey Aksenov. According to him, the plan was implemented “in full”. How many Crimeans were called up for military service as part of partial mobilization, he did not specify.
“Words of gratitude to the Crimeans who did their duty, showed courage and came to the military registration and enlistment offices to join the Russian Armed Forces. Today, before the end of the day, mobilization activities in Crimea will be completed,” said Mr. Aksenov (a video of his speech was published in Telegram channel).
As previously reported to Kommersant in the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, during the draft campaign, about 200 Crimeans received incorrect summons from the military registration and enlistment offices.
Recall that mobilization activities began in the country on September 22. According to the Ministry of Defense, the Russian authorities plan to call up 300,000 people to take part in hostilities in Ukraine.
