The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced the return of 75 people who were mistakenly called up as part of a partial mobilization.

“Over the past three days, I have received complaints from residents of the region about how partial mobilization is going: in some cases, military registration and enlistment offices called in students, in some cases, representatives of professions important for the economy and the region. Each complaint was personally worked out with the military registration and enlistment office, ”Mr. Gladkov wrote in Telegram channel. He added that 75 drafted people were returned “with the full understanding and assistance of the military registration and enlistment office.”

The governor of the Belgorod region said that he had recently received more than 600 appeals related to partial mobilization. In this regard, an operational meeting will be held in the region with the participation of representatives of federal, regional and municipal authorities, after which Vyacheslav Gladkov will visit neighboring regions where Belgorod residents are located. “If necessary, we will try to provide assistance and assistance from the region as quickly as possible,”— summarized he.

President Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization in Russia on 21 September. The authorities argued that those who served in the ranks of the armed forces, have certain military specialties and relevant experience, will be subject to conscription, first of all. The speaker of the Federation Council, Valentina Matvienko, called unacceptable excesses on the ground – cases of mobilization of citizens who do not fall under the previously announced criteria. She is urged governors to control this issue.
