After appealing to Putin, serviceman Yulia Bereza received a veteran’s certificate

The military investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation have taken measures to restore the rights of junior sergeant Yulia Bereza, a participant in the special military operation.
Yulia Bereza, during the summing up of the year’s results by Russian President Vladimir Putin on live television, said that she became a volunteer in the DPR before the republic joined Russia. However, now she and her husband cannot obtain combat veteran statusand her mother, being in the Samara region, cannot obtain the appropriate benefits.
On the same day, Yulia Bereza was received by military investigators and, having found out all the circumstances, achieved the restoration of her violated rights. In a solemn ceremony, Yulia Bereza and her husband were presented with certificates of combat veterans of the Russian Federation.
The serviceman’s mother was prescribed all the social support measures available to the relatives of the participants in the special operation, the Sledkom press service said.
Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized that everyone who defends their homeland at the cost of their health and life should receive equal benefits. The Russian authorities also demand that all support measures required for the participants of the special operation be provided to them without red tape and bureaucracy.
