Aeroflot increases the frequency of flights to Kirovsk

In December, the airline is increasing the frequency of flights from Moscow (Sheremetyevo) to the center of ski resorts in the Arctic – the city of Kirovsk, Murmansk region.

Thus, according to the company’s press service, in addition to daily flights to the popular ski resort, a second flight SU1546/1547 is being added: from December 1 – on Fridays, from December 3 – on Sundays.

Aeroflot began regular flights to Kirovsk in December 2022. The flight is in great demand among tourists – Kirovsk is a ski resort with one of the longest ski seasons in Russia.

“The new frequencies will make it possible to satisfy increased seasonal demand and provide comfortable air travel to even more active recreation enthusiasts,” the company commented. “Thanks to the convenient schedule, travelers will be able to devote their weekends to skiing and return to Moscow by Sunday evening.”

As representatives of the air carrier noted, the new flight will also be covered by a program for free transportation of ski equipment; it will last until April 15, 2024.

The winter sports season in the compact ski resort of Kirovsk is in full swing. Since the beginning of November, the temperature in the Murmansk region has been comfortable for skiing and snowboarding, from -7 to -13 degrees. The ski slopes are located right within the city, so upon arrival, you can get to the slides by public transport or on foot. And the northern lights season has already begun there.
