A unified schedule for the main state exam has been developed
The Ministry of Education and Rosobrnadzor have developed a unified schedule indicating the duration of the main state exam (OGE) next year. Document will be adopted after public discussion and anti-corruption examination on the portal of draft regulatory legal acts, where it was published today.
The start time of the OGE in all subjects does not change – 10:00 regional time. The duration of exams in Russian language, literature and mathematics will be 3 hours 55 minutes. Less time is given to historians, physicists and chemists: only 3 hours. Those wishing to demonstrate their knowledge in the field of biology, geography and computer science will be given 2.5 hours. Future linguists (currently exams are held in English, Spanish, German and French) will be given only 2 hours to show how they have mastered foreign languages. However, this is only a written exam. There is also an oral one, which takes 15 minutes.
And the schedule: foreign languages will be taken on May 24 and 25, biology, social studies and chemistry on May 27. May 30 – geography, history, physics, chemistry. June 3 (three days before Pushkin’s birthday) – Russian language. Actually, on the poet’s birthday, June 6, there will be mathematics. On June 11, experts in geography, computer science and social studies will demonstrate their knowledge. And June 14 (the last day of the main period of the OGE) – biology, computer science, literature, physics.
By the way, the exam can be taken earlier, but not for everyone. This right is granted to the winners of school Olympiads (in the subjects in which they won, champions and prize-winners are completely exempt from the exam), children with health limitations, as well as children who studied their native (non-Russian) language.
