People’s Artist Dmitry Nazarov, who, together with his wife and colleague Olga Vasilyeva, left the Russian Federation after layoffs from the Moscow Art Theater named after Chekhov, said that he was in touch with some former colleagues.
In several interviews that the actor gave after leaving the theater and emigration, he hinted that he received little support from colleagues. Many former friends, according to the artist, chose to distance themselves from the situation. However, some old acquaintances continue to keep in touch with him and his wife. One of them is actor Dmitry Nagiyev, a partner in the popular television series.

In March 2022, Nagiyev refuted plans to leave Russia, the actor still remains at home and continues to work.
