Peskov denies information about the transfer of the capital deep into Russia

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov “RIA News”that reports of plans to move the capital from Moscow inland are not true. Earlier, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov said that the Kremlin is talking about moving the capital deep into Russia.
Yesterday, March 14, Mr. Danilov said on the air of the Ukrainian unified telethon that the Russian authorities are discussing the transfer of the capital to Siberia. “They are already talking about moving the capital deep into Russia, and many other processes are already underway,” he said (quoted by Focus.ua).
Earlier with the initiative to move the capital to Siberia spoke businessman Oleg Deripaska. In his opinion, under the sanctions, the main flow of goods, investments and payments to Russia will come from Asia.
