Nazarov’s wife, actress Olga Vasilyeva, supports her husband’s position. She claims that both of them have nothing to justify themselves for, and Konstantin Khabensky should be ashamed of his act. “We’d better justify ourselves for ourselves, but we don’t have anything to do! she emphasized in the conversation. – We’re fine!”.

The former Chekhov Moscow Art Theater actor was fired from the theater along with his wife in January of this year. According to press reports, which the artist himself did not refute, the celebrity’s anti-Russian statements and his criticism of the Russian authorities due to a special operation in Ukraine became the reason for the break in relations. In March, Nazarov commented on the decision of Konstantin Khabensky to fire him from the theater, saying that it was hard for the artistic director himself. The actor claimed that initially the management of the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater planned to remove him from participation in performances for a while.

After leaving Russia in January 2023, the actor-wives organized their stage performances with a program of their own works “L’amour-mur or Power on one side”, which they presented first in Israel and then in other countries.
