Actor Alexey Yanin, who struggled with the consequences of a stroke for several years, died at the age of 40 in a hospital. The death of the artist was reported at the Russian Academic Youth Theater, citing information received from the family.
Actor’s wife Daria Klyushnikova confirmed REN TV that the artist died on Tuesday.
“Yes, today,” said Klyushnikova. “I received information from the head of the intensive care unit.”
In early September, the actor’s wife reported about his death, but it later became known that relatives were misled by representatives of the funeral service industry due to confusion at the hospital.
Yanin suffered a stroke in 2015 and never fully recovered from the illness. Relatives reported that he was left partially paralyzed and his brain function was seriously affected. The actor’s wife admitted that in recent years she had been living separately with her child, trying to focus on raising her son and work. She explained that she continues to support her husband, does not intend to divorce, and tries to visit him more often with her son.
