A young alpine skier from Sakhalin won two medals at all-Russian competitions

Island athlete Sofya Tuzova won gold and silver at the All-Russian children’s and youth alpine skiing competitions among people with musculoskeletal disorders. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Sakhalin Region.
The competition was held in Khanty-Mansiysk and brought together 30 athletes representing the Republics of Altai and Udmurtia, Kamchatka, Krasnoyarsk Territories, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, Voronezh, Murmansk, Chelyabinsk, Sakhalin regions, Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Sofya Tuzova, a student of coach Galina Pervushina, won a gold medal in slalom and a silver medal in giant slalom. The Sakhalin alpine skier took part in all-Russian competitions for the first time.
