A yellow weather alert has been announced in Moscow due to an expected snowstorm

The Hydrometeorological Center announced a yellow weather danger level for almost the entire territory of the Central Federal District, including Moscow and the Moscow region. In the capital, wind gusts of up to 15 m/s, snowstorm and ice are expected; in the Moscow region there will also be heavy snow in places.
In the Central Federal District, weather hazards are not expected only in the Lipetsk and Tambov regions. In Moscow and the Moscow region, a blizzard warning is in effect from 21:00 on December 23 until 21:00 on December 24, and a warning about icy conditions is in effect until 21:00 on December 25.
Weather hazards are expected in some regions of the Siberian, Volga, Northwestern and Southern federal districts, as well as in all regions of the Ural and North Caucasus federal districts. The orange level of weather danger is in effect in Crimea, Krasnodar Territory, Karachay-Cherkessia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Chechnya, Ingushetia, Khabarovsk Territory and Buryatia.
