The Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia has published a video of arrests in the case of preparing a terrorist attack on the South Stream gas pipeline.

“A terrorist attack on the South Stream gas pipeline has been prevented,” the Russian special services said.

It is noted that the detainees were citizens of Russia. They turned out to be “involved in the preparation and resource support of a terrorist act.” FSB officers during the searches seized four magnetic mines, 4 kg of plastite, as well as delayed fuses, 593 thousand rubles and communications equipment.

The FSB stressed that the detainees had means of communication in which there was “correspondence and negotiations with a curator from the Ukrainian special services.” It also contained “instructions for the assembly and installation of an explosive device, as well as the transfer of money and the coordinates of the location of the explosion in the Volgograd region.”
