A third of Russians surveyed would like to return to the 20th century

In the case of the invention of the time machine, 18% of the Russians surveyed expressed their wish to return to the 20th century. 4% of survey participants would like to see the Soviet Union, 3% of respondents wanted to visit the second half of the century, and 2% at the beginning of the century.
As reported VTsIOM, 1% of the study participants would like to go to the end of the twentieth century and during the Great Patriotic War. Every tenth respondent would like to see the 21st century.
The present time suited 4% of the respondents, another 6% became interested in all the events of the coming century, and 3% of the study participants wanted to look at the future.
The desire to be in the past in times before the 18th century was reported by 6% of respondents. In the XIX century – 16%, another 12% – in the XVII.
Would not refuse to be in Russia during the reign of Peter the Great or Catherine II 2 and 1%, respectively. 17% of respondents would like to get acquainted personally with Pyotr Alekseevich, 15% would like to meet Joseph Stalin.
The fact that the assessment of historical events should remain unchanged was stated by 54% of the survey participants. 37% agreed that they should be rethought and moved away from an unambiguous interpretation.
